Daily makeup for a teen can be a struggle. You don’t know if you are wearing too little or too much. Luckily we are here to help!

Step 1: Primer

A lightweight primer under your face of makeup can be a game changer. It will create a barrier between your face and makeup so it won’t irritate your skin. A primer will also make your makeup last longer all together! We recommend the Tarte Double Duty Base Tape Primer because it is lightweight and hydrating!

Step 2: Concealer

A medium coverage concealer is great for a teen. You don’t want your face to look cakey and you want it to work well enough to cover any blemishes. We recommend skipping foundation for a daily look to keep it natural. A favorite concealer of ours is the Morphe Fluidity Concealer. It has a great formula and lasts a long time!

Step 3: Blush

A little bit of color on the cheeks will make your skin pop. As long as you don’t go too heavy. Concealer takes away some of the natural color in your face and blush is a great way to counter that. A personal favorite of ours is Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush. It is natural and layers nicely!

Step 4: Highlighter

Highlighter brightens up your whole face! When the light catches your face it will make your face glow! I like to put it on my cheekbones, cupid’s bow, and the inner corners of my eyes. We really like the IBY Private Jet Highlighter, it is perfect for a natural look.

Step 4: Mascara

A little bit of mascara makes you look more awake altogether. If you add a little bit it can make your makeup look better overall. A great long wear mascara is the Two Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Mascara is a great way to improve your daily makeup routine!

Step 5: Lipstick

Lipstick completely changes your makeup look and makes it look much more put together.  For a more natural look, it is better to use a lighter, more natural lipstick color rather than a bright, bold color. A good lipstick to use is the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream.  This lipstick has 36 shades to choose from and it includes many natural shades to use for daily makeup.
